I simply installed it using
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop
... and then I restarted my computer. On the log-in screen, I clicked on my name and selected KDE from the choices on the bottom. It appears I'm logging in, the screen goes black, and then I return to the log-in screen. I also cannot log in from any of the other options on the bottom. What can I do?
