So I integrated a terminal into my desktop using compiz but there are a couple minor tweaks I wanted to attempt before I call it a finished project.

1. Often when I boot up the terminal ends up a row too high, but not always. I think this is because it starts before some gnome processes finish loading. Is there anyway alter startup order and make a startup process last? I think this would solve this problem.

Also,

2. Right now I have one terminal boot up, but I was wondering if there was a command I could use to boot a different instance of the terminal in each workspace. The startup command I am currently using is simply:

gnome-terminal --window-with-profile=DesktopConsole

Thanks.
