Lucid 10.04 Upgrade & Xiphos Bible

Since I upgraded to 10.04 and ran Computer Janitor, the Xiphos Bible Guide no longer works. The splash screen comes up for a second and then disappears. I've tried removing and re-installing the program to no avail. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

Try this:
Go to Places > Home Folder
In the nautilus window that opens, go to View and choose Show Hidden Files
Then find a folder called: ".xiphos"

Rename or delete that folder.

Launch Xiphos again, redownload your Bibles again.

Please post back whether or not this worked.

Unfortunately it did not work. I am also running BibleTime 2.8.0 which is running just fine. Also, I checked other programs and BitDefender Anti-virus no longer works properly. It will start. You can change preferences and update the anti-virus files. But the anti-virus engines will not load. The Computer Janitor apparently must have deleted some needed files for some of the applications. Any other ideas? Thanks.

This morning BitDefender is running OK. Must have been a fluke yesterday why it would not scan. I am still stumped about Xiphos. Surely someone else out there has had problems after running Computer Janitor. Any ideas from anyone?
