Hey All!

last days i was in collage an we have got a presentation so i thought about linux an when i made it i found alot ppl dont knw about linux an some didnt try it

so a shiny idea came to me i will make a website to help ppl to get advance in linux an how to transfer from windows to linux totally

what you think about the idea an anyone want to join me an help i will be glad :) .

theres a lot of ways to pitch in and if you're motivated, go for it.

you can also try to join one of the ubuntu loco teams.

and lots of people need help around here, so you're always welcome to help around :p

Take a look at the Ubuntu Manual Project.

They work on things exactly like this, including a manual for beginner users - http://ubuntu-manual.org/

They have a launchpad group here - https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-manual

You could subscribe to the mailing list and start helping.

I'm not certain but I think they were even talking of developing an Ubuntu help web-site exactly like you are saying, but I don't know if that's going ahead or not (or maybe I just imagined it).
