Hey everyone!

I was just curious about whether one can install ubuntu 9.10 theme in ubuntu 10.04 LTS or not...

Don't get me wrong... ubuntu 10.04's theme is cool, quite unique though :---). However, IMAO ubuntu 9.10's theme was better: the loggin screen, the buttons... I just love it and would like to keep using it with my ubuntu 10.04. :guitar:

Is there anything I can do to get it?

Thanks in advance! ):P

The themes and wallpaper can be installed from 10.04 the software center or synaptic package manager.

The wallpaper package is ubuntu-wallpapers-extra but I don't remember all the theme package names. Some included themes were human, dust sand , new wave , and human-clearlooks

I don't think the login screen is compatible with 10.04, I remember people wanting the 9.10 login screen back .

Did it on my grandparents PC as they couldn't get their head around the window buttons, IIRC I just changed the theme to 'human' in appearances.

If you want theme of ubuntu 9.10 like older version of ubuntu.
Search --> login screen --> unlock
select ubuntu classic (No effect) as default session.
and restart it.
