Thanks for the explanation.

Wait...didn't you say it's not released yet? How come it says you're using it (below your location tag)?

THe new release is going to be the stable version. the version everyone uses now is beta or below (alpha releases 1 to 6.)...it was like this...

dapper drake -- name of the distribution.
dapper flight-1 --- alpha release testing version 1 -- code named 'flight'
dapper flight 2...
.
.
.
now after flight 6 they released beta version which is usually the version before the final one... and that final one is going to be released on June 1st 2006 ...and hence the version number is 6.06... the month and year....
remember: 5.10 was released in oct 2005....

1.
1. Neatly dressed; trim.
2. Very stylish in dress.
2. Lively and alert.

[Middle English daper, elegant, probably from Middle Dutch dapper, quick, strong.]

Unfortunately, we are currently not taking any requests for our next release. So, if you would like to request Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper Drake) CDs, please check back with us again at the beginning of May 2006.

So, somewhere around May we will be able to order the CDs :)
