Good afternoon all,

I have recently moved to Ubuntu.
As I got some issues to install the 10.10 (don't know why, was always failing at 66% of installation, some issues with graphics board, or else), I installed the 10.04 LTS with no problem.

However, I notice one strange thing.
I have a USB-keyboard (brand TRUST).
When I connect it directly at the back of the PC, to the MB USB connectors, it take several minutes to boot. I observed the same thing with the live CD, and both on the 10.10, 10.04, and bith 32 or 64 bits. Then, after a while, it finally boots properly, and ubuntu launches and all works fine, including the keyboard.

When I connect the keyboard to a USB-HUB (powered, with 4 USB plugs), then, there i no problems, it boot in less than 30 second...

What would you say is the cause of that?
I'dlike to solve it because I wanted to use the USB-hub for something else...

Thanks for the help,
VdL
