When you go to Location on the menubar, you will find at the bottom of the menulist a tool calles Find files or Search files (i don't know how it's written in English since i'm using the Dutch version of Ubuntu). But take a look at the Location menu and there's a search tool available.

If that is not suitable for you, let us know!

I think its not a powerful tool... So, is there is another one that can be much powerful than the default one, provides more feature likes: speed , more result , ... etc...

You could try synapse.
