Using a CD I attempted to install 10.10 (with Welsh as the selected language) as a dual boot on a machine with Windows XP. The prior checks etc went OK until it reached the stage of checking partitions and space and it reported that there was no operating system installed. At that point I aborted the installation to check that I did indeed still have Windows XP. I did. When I made a second attempt the machine just hung. I can still get to try running Ubuntu off the CD. When I attempted to install from there it again failed. Any suggestions? (in simple English please: I don't speak Ubuntu/Linux).
