View Full Version : Looking for a Linux patch...Not that kind of patch!

I recently got a new bag that is really nice except for a stupid company logo on it. I was thinking a nice linux/tux/ubuntu patch would be nice on it, but it turns out searching for any linux related word and patch returns results relating to software patches only. I did find one at thinkgeek, but it was pretty lame. Does anyone have any leads?

Many T-shirt shops have the tools to make patches to spec. If you have the art work they can recreate it. Computer assist patching for computer icon.

I didn't think about going to local t-shirt shops and commissioning my own. Wouldn't that be terribly expensive? I guess it would be nice to buy local though.

Or you could make your own with some T-shirt printing paper and an iron.

Small print shops do them with a heat press, not usually very expensive.

This place does custom patches:

You always can have a look at the ubuntu store (http://shop.ubuntu.com/). Either now or in future occasions. I see a nice bag right in the front page, for example.

Actually I was thinking more in a ubuntu sticker (http://shop.canonical.com/product_info.php?products_id=718) (the big one). A friend of mine has sticked one in his guitar case, and it hold fine for months. It's quite plastic solid, not just paper like the others. Dunno if apropriate for a flexible bag though.

Refine your google search by adding "embroidered" to the phrase "Linux patch":

Embroidered Linux patch (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Embroidered+Linux+patch&btnG=Search&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=)

Meh, didn't really turn up that much I guess.
