Could someone please tell me how to set compiz to start at startup, I tried to Add in Starup Aplications but not working, what is the actual command? is it compiz --replace? Thanks.

If Compiz crashes, I don't have to add any qualifiers to the command to get it back - just compiz.

What distro are you using? Ubuntu launches compiz by default in the last few versions.

I'm running Ubuntu 10.04, compiz doesn't crashes but I want it to start at startup.
This is what I did, System,Admin,Startup programs and Add then entered Compiz then I'm lost because I'm not sure what to enter in the command box.
