Bombono 0.6.0

I do a lot with Video production and I like a specific program called Bombono... Its simple, yet a very powerful sofware for authoring DVD. The current active version of this software is 1.0.0... the one that is in the Ubuntu repo, is 0.6.0... I would say that this may be the most current stable version, however they also have a 0.8.0 and a 0.9.0... Im just curious if there is a way to get this updated, or added to the repository. If not, its no big deal, Ill just have to do it the old fashion way and compile the Tar.gz file... I just hate fighting dependency issues and the such.

You might look for a ppa, which works like a repo. You might also just find a deb somewhere, or look into making one yourself (not sure how much of a pain this is).

I don't know how you'd go about getting your favorite software updated in the repo.
