Some time ago I posted evolution/openoffice, ? but I cannot seem to find it.
Anyway I solved the problem of evolution mail and open office not acting in a seamless fashion as it always had in previous ubuntu distros. I used to
click on the envelope and evolution would open and I would send off spreadsheets. It would open but not send, resulting in having to open evolution to complete the job. So finally I just removed Evolution, installed Thunderbird and it works the way Evolution used to. So after all these years of using Evolution, I am now a Thuderbird user.
