View Full Version : [ubuntu] Accidently completely destroyed wireless internet

December 31st, 2010, 03:06 AM
So long story short I was messing around with aircrack-ng (airmon and all others as well) and while in the process of trying to make my computer support injection capabilities I completely disabled my wireless capabilities. And by completely disabled I mean I went from having eth0, eth1 and lo to only having eth0 and lo

My wireless card
Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN (rev 01)

additional drivers from system>administration says driver is activated but not currently in use

any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you tried to re-install network-manager to see if that fixes the problem?
