Have Natty Narwal 11.04 desktop installed. Is Unity desktop available to install yet ? Gnome Shell is confusing, stuck with the Pictures folder open and tiny icons. Using Gnome desktop now, looks like old Apple Mac 8.
Thanks

Natty is currently in alpha and it does come with Unity by default (if you have Intel or ATI it will activate automatically, for Nvidia you have to wait to install the proprietary driver).

Logout and see if you have "Unity" session available.

Also, there is a forum specifically for discussion of Natty. It's for testing; you should expect it to break often.

The download version was 10, then several upgrades later Natty Narwhal is here. So far Natty runs fast, no problems. Unity is not listed at Login. The Nvidia video driver is loaded, no problems. With Unity in testing Gnome desktop stays. Avant window navigator runs great. How did I get Natty is the puzzle? No problems to report. I need to watch those upgrades!
Thanks

No Unity is not installed. And the correct version is 10. A bug in the upgrade shows Natty. Found in the Natty thread in Desktops.
Thanks

Just install it and you'll have unity.
