i have a compaq mini 110 with 2gb ram and 1.6ghz atom processor running ubuntu 10.10 netbook. it started out with windows 7 starter when i bought it but reformatted it and installed ubuntu. now i find myself in a situation where i need windows for some things (wine does not suit my needs), so im trying to get it to dual boot windows and ubuntu side by side.

i have made a windows 7 starter usb installer on my 8gb flash driver from a friends' computer with win7 on it. but whenever i boot up my computer, upon installation i get an error. it tells me that the required cd/dvd driver is missing, which is odd because it has no cd drive. i found from looking online that some other people are getting this error, but nobody seems to have found one.

i have tryed using different flash drives, and different iso's with no luck .so if anybody here has any suggestions or have fixed this error themselves help would be much appreciated. thanks.
