I upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10 yesterday.
After upgrade, the PC rebooted properly, but on second restart, after I login, the login window show up again.
The password is accepted and the main window shows up, but again the login window shows up.
What should be done.
The following was done by me.
I installed 9.04 fresh . ( It has GRUB1 which I need).
Upgraded it to Ubuntu 9.10. Worked well. Next upgraded from 9.10 to 10.04 No problems.
Then upgraded 10.04 to 10.10 . Installed WIne and Samba.
After that the problem started.
