install question

is there a way to set up ubuntu where it goes through install at startup without the cd? So the end user can put name, password, and all that stuff themselves....just curious.

I think on the alternate install iso there is an option to do this very thing for the very purpose of pre-installed Ubuntu computer sales (OEM if you like).

Download, make cd, and have a poke about.
