a lighter version of MC.

It is ok, but bit crashing sometimes. Mc is more stable. It has quick bookmarking. Limited progress bar during copying ...

v4.7.0.6 is available for Maverick.

If you use KDE, Krusader is a GUI file manager similar to Gnome Commander.
