I'm looking at starting some type of CD giveaway drive.

I've put free linux cds on craigslist and gotten tons of people asking for one, but of course im limited to my local area and my time. I think if i got some more people on board we could make this work.

I have a CD duplicator and printer so I would be willing to handle all the production, but id need people to help me distribute and id also be happy to take any suggestions of how to go about doing this.

If anyone's interested in getting in on this let me know!

It seems like a great idea sam, though I would recommend choosing a different venue to distribute them.

I find that many people on craigslist will grab anything that is free, regardless if they'll ever use it. I would not want to see your dedication be taken advantage of.

He makes a point. I do freelance computer repair. I was considering adding a little note about "Contact me for free Ubuntu/Linux operating system install/trial discs!" to the next flyer I make after reading this post. Couldn't hurt.

Do you print labels for the disks?
