Memory card trouble

Hi all,
Im Using maverick on my laptop.I cant access a Memory card which i recently formatted to ext2 using another pc running Lucid Lynx.After formatting,I moved some files to the card which im now unable to access from the laptop.The disk utility shows the card as mounted on \media\...\ and when i open that location as Root,the files are there but im unable to move or copy to another directory. :( .I cant even format the memcard or do anything to it using disk util. I get an error which says that the device is busy.Please help.

Make sure the slider on the memory card is not in the "write protect" position

Also, maybe you just yanked out the card from the original computer - try plugging it in the originañl computer again and remove it using the proper procedure (unmount first)

Tried that.But its still not working..please help.I formatted the card in the lucid system using the root account.does that make any difference?:confused:
