This thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1653063 was closed for the cited reason of OS and user bashing. I'd just like to point out I never bashed any OS, to say that OSX is simple is one it selling points.

As to insulting users, I never refered to a whole group, or individual. My comments, while some may consider harsh, are not far off the mark. The industry is making a lot of money making devices in the same category as toasters. (Appliances) As they say its not slander if its true.

It used to be you could have an opinionated conversation in the Community Café.

While you are welcome to your opinion, however, I feel you crossed the line with your post.


Rich people are sheep is a generalization, prejudiced, and inappropriate. Not only do you make yourself look bad, but it is insulting to a group of people and invites flame wars.

Furthermore you are calling other people "stupid" simply because they do not understand your desktop customizations. This is nothing short of arrogance on your part.

This kind of post is not appropriate here, café or otherwise, and could have easily earned you an infraction.

Please review the code of conduct and post your opinions in a more appropriate, less insulting tone.

As you can imagine, I feel your post qualifies as rude and borders on hate speech (rich people are quite diverse, lol).
