View Full Version : Why is Conky limiting the width of my window?

I'm running Conky in antiX Linux M8.5 with the Rox Pinboard activated. It seems that no matter how large my values for minimum_size and maximum_width, Conky refuses to widen the window beyond a certain level. The .conkyrc code:

If you can't get closer than 50 pixels from the edge of the screen it is because of these in your conky.
gap_x 50
gap_y 50Try setting to something smaller than 50.

Also, what is the resolution of your monitor? I was able to adjust the minimum_size and maximum_width to something larger than 1000; however, I have a large monitor resolution well in excess of 1000 pixels.
