Most people I know on Facebook seem to live a whole other life apart from their real selves. I often wonder if Facebook et al offer people the opportunity to project a side of themselves that they'd like people to see other than the reality of themselves. For example, a (by marriage) relation of mine projects an image of an altruistic, cheerful and loyal friend to others. The reality is somewhat different though!!
