View Full Version : Guassian Blur with ATI works in 10.10 yay!

For the longest time when I used alpha blur I've had to use the Bilinear technique that's in Compiz because the Guassian way would make everything look like it was being smeared, but tonight I found out it works now!

I still wouldn't mess with the RGBA Murrine engine thing though, it looks unstable.

Transparency and blur galore! :D

Which driver stack & kernel are you using?

I'm using FGLRX drivers (If I use the other ones, my laptop overheats and artifacts appear), and I'm using the kernel that comes normally in Ubuntu 10.10 (2.6.33 I think?)
