View Full Version : [xubuntu] 10.10 Network Manager Wireless Disabled At Login

Just installed a fresh xubuntu 10.10 on a new laptop (all updates applied). Every time I log in, wireless is disabled by default. I'm able to use wireless by enabling it, but it seems like it should activate automatically, given that no wire is plugged in.

FYI, I have clicked Edit Connections, and checked both Connect Automatically and available to All users. Neither options has resolved this issue.

Just want to make it clear that wireless does in fact work, it just isn't activated automatically. Wired network is automatically activated if a wire is plugged in.
