Hello,
According to the official upgrade notes (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LucidUpgrades#Upgrade%20from%208.04%20LTS%20to%201 0.04%20LTS) I have to use the Update Manager to upgrade 8.04 to 10.04.
I followed the steps and everything's working okay (currently waiting for all the packages to download) - so my question is this: I happen to have the 10.04 iso on a cd, and I really don't want to wait for 5 hours for the packages to download through the Update Manager upgrade, so is there any way to upgrade through the cd? Or is the cd iso only good for a clean install?
Thanks.
