Urgent: Skype can not connect p2p connection failed

I am using ubuntu 10.10.
I am planning a skype meeting this morning.
I have just installed skype 2.1 beta when I tried to sign in I get takes long time and at the end I get p2p connection failed.
can there be some other applications that use are using skype port ? if so how can I detect this ?
