Install Ubuntu if Ubuntu Already Installed (reinstall)

I put my cd drive first in the boot, however i already have ubuntu installed. So like it skips the install. How do i get around this?

I'm going from ubuntu 10.10 to kubuntu 10.04

Back up all your files and after that put Kubuntu Cd in drive and install it over Maverick.
