View Full Version : [ubuntu] gphoto2 usb mount problems [10.4 LTS]

I posted this in Multimedia, but had no replies, so I guess it was the wrong location:

I have a partition called 'MyPhotos', mounted in /mnt/MyPhotos.

Whenever I connect my camera, it mounts and shows on the desktop as 'Digital Camera', but in Nautlius it shows as gphoto2://[usb:001,005]/ (the last digit could be anything). However, the contents are my 'MyPhotos' folder.

The same happens with my mobile phone. It mounts and shows on the desktop as 'Sony Ericsson W595' but the location shown in Nautilus is gphoto2://[usb:001,007]/ or similar. The contents are also the 'MyPhotos' folder.

I am using a 4 port hub, but it used to work properly with it.

The only thing I have installed recently, other than normal updates, is Google Picassa.

Any suggestions, or further info needed?
