Under Ubuntus 10.04 & 10.10 , gpointing-device-settings crashes with a "Segmentation Fault". Current version of gpointing-device-settings is 1.5.1-2. This occurs on two different Acer machines - the first being an Acer Aspire 7000 series running 64 bit ubuntu and the other an AspireONE D260 running 32 bit.
Having reported this bug, I am being directed to an updated version of this package, the new version being 1.5.1-4. However, this new version is listed as being for Ubuntu 11.04, which is still in development.
So, what do I do with the three files? -
gpointing-device-settings_1.5.1.orig.tar.gz
gpointing-device-settings_1.5.1-4.debian.tar.gz
gpointing-device-settings_1.5.1-4.dsc
Any help would be appreciated.
