hi
i just installed wine and i want to use internet explorer bcoz some webpages that i want to open can be opened only in ie and they show incompatibility with other browsers. Wine comes pre installed with ie but when i open that pre installed ie it just shows a blank white page.
i also tried to install ie 8 and ie 9 but its not working.
plz help

It's not really possible to install IE in WINE, because it is so integrated into Windows. Are you redirected to an "Browser Incompatible" page?
If so, changing the User Agent that Firefox identifies itself as may work. Try This Firefox add-on (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59/) to do that.

You can use a virtual machine. Install virtualbox, for example; it lets you create a virtual computer in which you can install windows. That way, IE would be perfectly integrated with windows and work ok.
