Hi all,

Trying out abit of Emacs as I don't like the fact that Vi can only run in shell (i know that's the whole point of it) and xvile doesn't colour. Problem is that the default text size is massive! I want it to load with a smaller size, is there a conf file somewhere?

I don't know which emacs you have installed, but I have emacs23, and there I go Options->Set default font...->save options

The main config file is ~/.emacs. The emacs wiki is always a good place to start for these things:
