Hello Friends,

First, refer this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1636329) and this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1636329) thread.

After watching those two threads, you'll get to know, Whats Wrong.

In ubuntu 10.04, after installation of Either dbus-1.2.16 or glib-2.14.6

Ubuntu's GUI stops working. On the boot, it gives warning like,
"Ubuntu is running in low graphics mode."
However, you'll get brief about this problems, in the therads(links given above).

I hope, somebody'll help me.

dbus is depreciated though still found in 10.04.

I haven't read through your linked threads, but I sit here for an hour or two waiting for some boxes to finish. If you want to,
we can meet and, as it's a fresh install, I could vnc or ssh in and take a look.

you're right. Its alright about dbus. But even if I install only "glib", it gives me those errors.
Thanks for that(remove desk) offer to have a look, but my brother, I don't have fast connection. I'm posting this using a dial-up modem.
