Try also OpenVMWare.

BTW, does anyone know which one is better QEmu or OpenVMWare?

QEmu has just released a module that makes it almost real time.
However, you have to do some compiling for that to work-- the qemu in the repos won't work with it.

There's also bochs and Xen. and a few others. I'd say qemu is the best I've tried, but I've never tried OpenVMWare-- how do they get away with using that name anyway?
