Hi,
I upgraded a computer from vanilla Jaunty (9.04) to Lucid (10.04). Now when I boot up, I can see the mouse cursor, but when I log in, it disappears. The mouse still works, but I can't see it.
Any ideas?
EDIT: New problem... whenever I go to install an application, the computer freaks out (like, worse than kernel panic) and I am forced to reboot. Is there a way to clean install WITHOUT a CD/DVD/USB? I don't have access to any right now.
