Hello Ubuntures,
I've installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on my ***puter.
I've slow Internet connection. I've installed many libraries, packages, restricted codecs, etc.

I'm an experimental person with my system. Always my system crashes. And again and again i've to install all packages, libraries.

To get the rid of this, I want to make iso image of my primary ubuntu drive, so that, if my system crashes, in one installation, my all system will get restored.

Please, tell me the way to make iso image of primary drive.

ISO is generally for removable media, CD and DVD and the like. But I get that you want to make an easy-to-restore image of your installation. For that, I recommend Clonezilla Live (http://clonezilla.org/).

I use Remastersys to creat iso backup which I then burn to CD/DVD - more info here http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Utilities/Remastersys-26479.shtml
