On all the previous versions of Ubuntu there was a button I'd press to change between button navigation like this

and text navigation like this
http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/4128/nav2s.png
but I can't find this button anymore so now all I have is button navigation. Theres no reason they'd get rid of that feature so I'm guessing its in there somewhere, I just can't find it.

Also, if you would like to set the editable text form as the default (as I have it on mine), you can do it in the Configuration Editor (gconf-editor):

Navigate to /apps/nautilus/preferences/

then enable always_use_location_entry.

You can get that button back by installing Nautilus Elementary.

Omg. How am I going to remember that one also. :?

But here is an idea. Currently, a double-click on the path items has no function other than single-click.
Make double-click switch to text path view, and double-click on the "Location:" string switch back.

@nilarimogard: Did not find it in software center, web search result says "Nautilus Elementary is no longer maintained"...
