I decided to give Natty a little test run and chose to Installl it from my USB drive. I have done quite a few times before using the USB Creator thats in the root of the .iso I make sure the USB drive has a FAT32 partition that is empty. I load the .iso in Windows with DTLite and mount it as a drive. Then run USB Creator, it finishes successfuly, and I restart to boot the usb stick. When I try to boot, it's loads SYSLINUX, shows this on the first line of the screen, and hangs indefinatly. This has never happend before with any of the other versions and I figured since it's still in testing, I needed to let someone know. If you need anymore information feel free to email me at digitalmastertaco@gmail.com
I'm not sure if the right people are going to see this, but if anyone reading this can forward to the appropiate team, I think they might like to hear this.
I am in Fedora now using dd to copy the iso straight to the usb. I have also done this numerous times sucessfully with never an issue. If this does not work correctly, I am going to get the latest .iso and try with that. If it still doesnt not work, I am going to assume I am not at fault and that this message is fairly significant. So please if you can get this to the right people. Thanks
