View Full Version : [ubuntu] Weird Problem with Themes in Maverick

Whenever I restart my PC lately, I have noticed upon reboot that my theme has changed from what I had it set to, to a bland standard grey theme (it's not even the default Maverick theme, but looks like some 90's Windows grey theme). What causes this? It's very annoying and strange.

Also, all the icons have changed to some default theme as well. Everything has changed.

EDIT: Another strange thing is when I log-in, after I right-click desktop and click "change background" suddenly the theme I logged off with comes back instantly. But only after I click "change background." I don't even have to change the theme, merely clicking "change background" itself instantly results in the right theme coming back. But there is still a problem. Even after the theme comes back, the desktop icons stay the same. All other icons change, but the desktop icons will not.

This is happening to me too.

Glad to know I am not alone. Must be a bug somewhere.
