I have a 1366x768 resolution monitor.
I did xrandr -s 1366x768 and it comes out more neater, however I wanted something better.
You see, I use monitor shielding for emf/vlf/elf rays, that I bought from lessemf.com. It's not the size that completely fits my monitor and basically I want to change the light emitted to only be one large square section of the screen, the area where the glass fits over.
You know when you burn a dvd movie as playable on dvd using some dvd authoring program, it doesn't completely output to fit the tv screen, but there is like black rectangles on the sides. I don't know how to explain it well, sorry.
I just want to do this as a temporary solution until I get more emf protection delivered to me by next week.
I would really appreciate an answer to this and I will try to answer others' questions if I get this one answered as a token of appreciation.
