Hi guys, I'm running Ubuntu Lucid which contains the Gnome 2.30. The thing is that, I'm really interested on using empathy 2.32, since it fixes a lot of bugs. However I don't want to upgrade the entire system but I really want the new version of empathy :3. I tried using ppa or other methods but no luck. Any idea?

What ppa did you use?

That is the one I think I am using (I am on my iPod right now), except I did a quick search for empathy and it did not show up in that ppa. I am running GNOME 2.32 though (when I don't use fluxbox)...

That PPA contains 2.32 only for Maverick 10.10

The version for Lucid in there is only 2.30 I'm afraid.
