Netbook Remix - How to change the icons ?

I recently installed the 10.10 on my EEE and am running the Netbook Remix desktop.

I find the icons to be quite large and I wanted to know if there is a way to either make the icons smaller or change them to a list format.

I would also like to know if there is a way to make the side bar skinnier.

We agree. We were running 10.4 and were extremely pleased with that version. We used the upgrade 10.10 for netbooks.

10.10 is also a lot more difficult navigating through the system. It isn't user friendly; self intuitive as the 10.04.

After a couple of days being frustrated, we stripped the hard drive, and put 10.04 back on.
