Hey guys,
I have ubuntu 10.10 running dual boot on my PC, windows 7 ultimate as primairy OS.
Sometimes when i boot into ubuntu i get quick flashes of artifact om my monitor.
After that it runs just fine, no artifact during working in ubuntu OS.
Do you think that this has something to do with my system specs?
Are there hardware restrictions to ubuntu displaying?
My system specs:
AOC 22-inch monitor
AMD Phenom II X2 550 cpu
ECS Geforce6100PM-M2 motherboard
XFX Geforce 8500 GT 512MB video card
Markvision single channel 2GB DDR2 800 PC-6400 memory card
Hitachi Deskstar 500GB @7200RPM hard disk drive
MSI Lightscribe dvd burner
Coolermaster eXtreme 600W psu
GMC mid-tower case
