Safegards in Giving Out Ubuntu LiveUSBs

I am thinking about giving out remasterized Maverick live-usbs to a number of Ubuntu-wannabes. However, they can easily reformat those usbs and destroy my good intention (& steal my hard-earned $$$).

Is there any way to make those Maverick live-usbs un-reformattable?
