Gotta love it but it kinda sucks.

I have a dual boot Ubuntu/XP laptop. I have an available wifi signal that I use regularly via Ubuntu, called "NETGEAR". Having recently discovered Hulu, I'm looking to watch some shows--but my Ubuntu laptop really suffers through Hulu. I'd like to watch in Windoze.

I log in to Windoze, and the laptop sees the "NETGEAR" wifi signal, but sees it as locked, and demands a password when I try to connect. I can enter numbers and the interface enters a wifi protected setup wizard . . . and fails.

My Ubuntu can use it, my friend's windoze laptop can use it, and my phone can use it--it's only my windoze that can't.

Hmmmmm . . . .

Ideas?

Is there a way to install new wifi radar software without a connection?

I did download wifi radar (in Ubuntu, and placed the .exe file in the Windoze partition), and attempted to install it in Windoze, but the .exe need connectivity in order to install . . .
