I recently discovered that there exist many offline readers for Wikipedia. After googling a bit, the only two which seem to work fine are Okawix (http://www.okawix.com/) and Wikipedia dump reader (https://launchpad.net/wikipediadumpreader).

I cannot use Okawix on my netbook, where I need it, as installing the Wikipedia sources eats all my ram, so I'm left with WDR. The problem is that the Wikimedia server (http://download.wikimedia.org/) holding the dumps has been down for quite a while. Does anybody here have fairly recent dumps for either the Italian or English Wikipedia or for the English Wiktionary which could be shared via torrent or some other means? Thank you very much.

Thank you, I didn't know the Archive actually archived these big files! :-)
