View Full Version : [SOLVED] Ubuntu doesn't boot after install

Hi everybody

Yesterday, I installed Ubuntu 10.10 with my old System ( Windows 7 ) , the installation was successful , but when i run my pc i just find windows 7 without Ubuntu .

Grub2 is installed to the boot sector of sda2 rather than the MBR of your HDD.

You need to chroot your install, purge the existing Grub and re-install it to the MBR.

Follow Why Chroot? section in this guide.
