problem booting after windows installer

So, I just installed ubuntu via the windows installer. When I try to boot it, it comes up a cmd line and gives me some choices of boot/grub... and boot/disk/... they all lead back to the cmd line except the boot/disk option which leads to a message saying that it cant find the disk... anyone have any idea whats up?
