Apple has a User Interface style guide book thing and I was wondering if such a thing existed for Ubuntu as well. If so where does it live? Would this guide be specific to the desktop environment or to Ubuntu in general.

Ubuntu's Desktop Environment is Gnome. And gnome has UISG/HIG.

GNOME's Human Interface Guidelines (http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/)

Kubuntu's Desktop environment, KDE:

KDE's Human Interface Guidelines (http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Usability/HIG)

You are welcome Michael.

What do you need the HIG, for? Are you going to create something? :KS
